Atlas Wallet
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Atlas is a personal cryptocurrency portfolio and transaction-history application operated by Amit Cohen Raab at atlas.amitcohenraab.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact amit.cohen.raab@gmail.com.
Information Atlas uses
When you sign in with Google, Atlas receives your Google account identifier, verified email address, and name. Atlas uses this information to authenticate you, show your signed-in account, and connect you to your assigned personal database. Access is available only to Google identities the operator has authorized.
Atlas requests access to its own hidden application-data folder in your Google Drive through the drive.appdata permission. It uses that folder to save backups you request, list and restore those backups, and import an existing Atlas portfolio and encrypted exchange connections when you first use an empty Atlas database. This permission does not give Atlas access to your ordinary Drive documents, Gmail, or contacts.
Atlas also processes the information you add or connect: account names, public wallet addresses, exchange credentials, balances, transaction records, imported CSV data, notes, corrections, import progress, and analysis results. This information supports the portfolio, history, reconciliation, review, backup, and export features.
Storage and security
Atlas runs on Cloudflare and stores application records in a Cloudflare D1 database assigned to your Google identity. Google and optional ChatGPT authorization credentials and saved exchange credentials are encrypted in the application's storage using a server-held key. The server can decrypt those credentials to operate the connections you enable; this is not end-to-end encryption of the portfolio.
A Drive backup contains your Atlas records and encrypted exchange credentials. Google and ChatGPT sign-in credentials are excluded from those backups. Other portfolio and history records in the backup are stored as application data, without additional encryption by Atlas. Backups remain in your Google account's Atlas application-data folder.
Atlas uses necessary cookies for sign-in and session security, and browser local storage for interface preferences such as menu state and selected AI model. Atlas does not include advertising or advertising-tracking features. Hosting and connected services process network requests needed to provide their services; operational errors can include diagnostic information. If an otherwise valid Google account has not been authorized for Atlas, its Google account identifier can be recorded to help the operator grant access.
Connected services and optional AI
Cloudflare provides hosting and database services. Google provides sign-in and the Drive application-data storage you authorize. When you connect an exchange or scan a wallet, Atlas sends the credentials or public addresses needed for the relevant exchange and blockchain data services to return balances and history. Price services receive the asset and time information needed for valuations. Enabled synchronization can continue in the background.
If you separately connect ChatGPT and use an AI-assisted import or review action, Atlas sends the relevant content to OpenAI through that connection. Depending on the action, this can include file names, account context, CSV headers and rows, your instructions and answers, asset details, transaction-type patterns, or transfer amounts and times. CSV content can contain identifiers you supplied. The transfer-review feature omits account names, wallet addresses, and transaction hashes; other AI features use their own selected fields.
Records restored from Google Drive can subsequently be included in these AI-assisted features when you use them. Atlas does not send Google authorization tokens or exchange credentials as part of its built-in AI prompts. Atlas requests responses with storage disabled at the API request level and keeps accepted analysis results in your Atlas database. That request setting is not a promise about every aspect of OpenAI's processing or retention; your connected service's terms and privacy settings also apply. You can disconnect ChatGPT in Settings to stop future AI requests through that connection.
Google data and Limited Use
Atlas uses Google API information for the sign-in, backup, restore, and portfolio features described in this policy. Its use and transfer of that information are subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Atlas does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or train general-purpose AI models on it. Transfers to connected services serve the features described above. The operator accesses personal data only as needed for support you request, security, or legal obligations.
Retention, export, and deletion
Atlas keeps portfolio and history records so that your work remains available; signing out does not delete them. Removing an account from the portfolio deletes its current balance snapshot and, for an exchange, its saved key, while retaining imported history and review issues. Existing Drive backups are separate copies and are not changed by removing an account or connection in Atlas.
You can export your records and wallets from Settings, delete saved exchange keys, and disconnect ChatGPT. You can revoke Atlas's Google access from your Google Account connections; revocation stops future authorized Google access but does not itself erase records already stored by Atlas. Google's Drive settings let you manage and delete Atlas's hidden application data.
For deletion of your Atlas database records or retained Google credentials, contact amit.cohen.raab@gmail.com. The operator may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. Deleting data from Atlas does not delete records held independently by exchanges, blockchain networks, Google, or OpenAI. Public blockchain records cannot be removed by Atlas.
Changes and contact
Updates to this policy appear on this page with a revised date. If Atlas introduces a new use of Google data, it will explain that use and obtain any required consent before applying it. Questions and requests can be sent to amit.cohen.raab@gmail.com.
